Karen McCloskey is Professor of Physiology in the School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences at Queen’s University Belfast.  She is Director of the Queen’s Gender Initiative, an entity that advances the participation and progression of women in Queen’s.  She also serves as Academic Lead for the Athena Swan and REC Equality Charters.
