Elaine Jackson

Elaine Jackson is a Lecturer of Business and Management at the University of the West of Scotland (UWS). She has extensive experience in private sector business development and higher education, with expertise in capital procurement, project management, and aerospace. Her applied research operates across two streams: psycholegal studies examining jury decision-making and justice reform policy impact, and business and organisational decision-making. Her current work focuses on graduate apprenticeship programmes and entrepreneurial synergy, exploring how experiential learning enhances decision-making processes. This research bridges academic theory with industry practice, extending her foundational work in decision-making bias into pedagogical innovation within business education.
