David Mba
David Mba became Birmingham City University’s vice chancellor on 1 October 2023. Prior to joining BCU, he was Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research, Knowledge Exchange and Enterprise at the University of the Arts London and has also held senior leadership posts at Cranfield University, London South Bank University and De Montfort University. A Professor of Mechanical Engineering, David is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
