Gareth Smith is Director of Student Life and Strategy at UA92, and is responsible for instilling student experiences and advocating for student welfare. As the National Chair of Labour Students, in 2008 he joined the London 2012 team as Further and Higher Education Adviser, before moving to join the University of East London as Director of Student Life post-Olympics in August 2012. In 2014 he joined The Labour Party as Head of General Election Youth Strategy and Engagement, before later moving north to take up the position of Head of Student Affairs at the University of Scarborough.
