Thomas Perry

Thomas Perry is Associate Professor and Co-Director of Postgraduate Research in the School of Education at the University of Warwick. A social scientist working at the intersection of research, policy and practice, his work tackles systemic inequalities through robust, applied educational and social research. Tom has led and contributed to numerous policy-relevant projects, with particular expertise in systematic review, quantitative and mixed methods research, and evaluation. His research spans cognitive science in education, school mobility, leadership, and equity, and has informed national and international policy debates. He is a member of the ESRC Peer Review College and serves on the editorial board of Research Papers in Education. Tom is passionate about strengthening research capacity and supporting evidence-informed policy through meaningful collaboration and co-creation with policymakers.
