Steve Pettifer

Steve Pettifer is Vice-President (Academy) for BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. He is Professor of Computer Science at the University of Manchester, where his research sits at the intersection of computing, human–computer interaction, and immersive technologies, with a particular focus on virtual reality, digital scholarship, and interdisciplinary applications of computing. He has led and contributed to large-scale collaborative research projects across academia, industry, and the public sector.
