Vice chancellor

Richard Davies is vice chancellor at the University of Plymouth, where he also chairs the Business, Innovation and Marine Autonomy Workstream for Team Plymouth. Before that he was Pro-Vice Chancellor Global at Newcastle University and held several leadership roles at Durham University. He started his academic career at Cardiff University in 2003 after eight years in the UK and abroad with ExxonMobil as an oil and gas exploration geologist.
