Michael Otsuka is Professor of Philosophy at the London School of Economics. He has also served as the Pensions Officer for the LSE’s UCU branch and as a member of a Pensions Advisory Group that the Director’s Management Team set up in 2014 to “guide the School’s engagement with the issue” of USS pension reform. In 2014, he was also elected by the Academic Board to serve on the School’s Court of Governors. He regularly posts blogs on Medium about pensions, academic pay, and other issues of relevance to public policy.
