Luke McCrone is a doctoral researcher in the Centre for Higher Education Research and Scholarship at Imperial College London. As a past engineering student and sabbatical officer, Luke is now building upon this experience to understand the student perspective of learning in formal, informal and transitional learning space. Using traditional observation methods in combination with occupancy data and technology, his work seeks to improve the way we define and design for active learning.
