Julie Tam

Julie Tam is Deputy Director of Policy at Universities UK. She leads UUK’s work on climate action and the financial sustainability of universities.
 
Julie joined UUK as head of analysis in 2012. Before that, she was deputy head of policy at the Russell Group.  She has worked as an economic adviser in the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, an economist at HM Treasury, and as a senior consultant at SQW. She has a Master of Arts degree from Stanford University and an honours degree in commerce from the University of Canterbury (New Zealand).
