Jo Smith

Jo Smith is Professor of Early Intervention (EIP) and Psychosis at the University of Worcester. She has worked both as an academic and a NHS clinical psychologist, specialising in early intervention in psychosis services and the prevention of student suicide. In addition to teaching and research she has led HE sector guidance on suicide safer practices. In 2023 she was awarded an OBE for services to higher education and her international contribution to student suicide prevention and response.
