Jill Childs is a Social Work academic whose work on social justice-focussed solutions to reduce awarding gaps has won her the award of ‘Most innovative approach to widening participation in the curriculum’ for her leadership in decolonising the curriculum in the HE Innovate awards (3rd place). Her team are also joint winners of the Innovation Award in the University Alliance Awards – their work on anti-racism is shown here.
