James Asfa is an Assistant Director of Citizens UK where he leads a team of community organisers in South London and Citizens UK’s work with migrant communities. He is a dual British and Iranian national and is particularly interested in how we strengthen democracy and the role that universities can play in civil society. James is also vice-chair of governors in a primary school in Brixton.
