Harriet Smailes
Harriet Smailes is a researcher in the field of sexual violence and domestic abuse. In addition to these projects, she is undertaking a PhD designed to explore the impact of university support and resolution interventions on student sexual violence victim/survivors. Harriet previously worked as a university case manager, running a service supporting students subjected to sexual misconduct and other unacceptable behaviours, and as a trainer and consultant, specialising in university responses to sexual violence. Harriet has been an emotional support volunteer for Rape Crisis since 2018.
