Her work examines how assessment frameworks such as the Research Excellence Framework (REF) shape researcher behaviour, research outputs, and academic practice. She is the co-founder of Hidden REF, an initiative advocating for greater recognition of the diverse and often invisible outputs and roles that underpin successful research
