Christina Horvath

Christina Horvath is Reader in French Politics at the University of Bath, a member of DECkNO (Decolonising Knowledge in Teaching, Research and Practice) – a research hub challenging Eurocentrism in the social sciences, arts and humanities – and a former academic conduct officer. Her research focuses on decolonial practices in France, Europe and beyond. She is co-author, with R. White, of Breaking the Dead Silence Engaging with the Legacies of Empire and Slave-Ownership in Bath and Bristol’s Memoryscapes (Liverpool University Press, 2024).
