Angela Halston is a Senior Policy and Engagement Officer at Independent Higher Education (IHE), working on specific areas of policy and regulation, engaging with members and helping them to keep up to date with sector news.
She has worked in Higher Education for over 17 years, in both UK universities and small, specialist HE providers. Prior to joining IHE in 2022, she spent ten years working in various senior management roles for the Edge Hotel School, including during their inception as an independent provider, and latterly during a merger with their validator to become an academic department at the University of Essex.
Her experience has focused on high quality provision of innovative, flexible, industry engaged learning, and she has a particular interest in support for professional services in small providers.
