Andrew Howells

Andy Howells is Assistant Director for External Affairs at Universities UK International. He leads UUKi’s communications, including with its 140+ UK university members, its stakeholder relations and its events programme.

Most recently, Andy developed and led the #WeAreTogether campaign, which helped reassured 67% of prospective international students to continue with their plans to study at a UK university during the Covid-19 pandemic. It has been shortlisted for ‘Marketing Campaign of the Year’ at the forthcoming PIEoneer Awards in September.

Andy has worked in higher education for over a decade, has been a judge for UKCISA’s #WeAreInternational student ambassador programme for the past two years, and sits on UniQuest’s international advisory board.
