Alice Smith is LEAPS Assistant Director with responsibility for the LEAPS Transitions Course. Alice is a widening participation practitioner and their work includes coordinating leading and teaching preparatory transitions and academic skills programmes. They are an Advance HE Senior Fellow and mentor on the Edinburgh Teaching Award;. SCAPP Steering Group member and Professional Learning & Development working group chair; WPLL Journal reviewer; lead facilitator of DAPP accreditation scheme and DAPP Champion.
