The Strategic Planning and Projects team is seeking a proactive and motivated Senior Strategic Planning Officer to take a lead role in monitoring and forecasting our student numbers and understand current application trends to inform projections for student number and financial planning purposes. The role holder will be a key part of the Data Futures Project Delivery Team and in time will play a leading role in understanding the university’s requirements for embedding business intelligence across the College.
This new role comes at an exciting time for the Management Information & Analysis team as we continue to grow in order to help the College make data informed decisions to assist the university’s development.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in working with large sets of data to produce clear and concise analytical reports for committees and senior staff
- Highly numerate and has the ability to present complex information in an accessible and engaging way
- Knowledgeable in understanding the importance of management information and its role in supporting decision making
- Able to work collaboratively with colleagues across the institution and with external bodies to help drive the best possible changes to current processes.
The role is full-time and permanent. The salary range is £38,142 to £42,540 per annum inclusive of London Weighting Allowance.
