King’s College London is one of the world’s top universities. With an ambitious vision, effective communications with key audiences is crucial. As a Senior Communications Officer, you will support storytelling and engagement activities for the whole university. These are delivered through a multi-channel and digital approach to inspire and engage audiences and build King’s reputation for academic excellence through a spotlight on key research breakthroughs and education. They will also work to reinforce key themes and successes aligned to Vision 2029.

What you’ll need to succeed
You’ll be a dynamic, driven person with an ability to engage with a range of colleagues, a good awareness of higher education and excellent digital communications skills. To be successful in this role you will have experience in a similar role within a communication team and will be able to demonstrate success of implementing campaigns, utilising digital channels including social media and excellent writing skills. We need a confident self-starter, with a can-do, positive attitude and who works well under pressure. The ability to build effective relationships is essential.
This post will be offered on an indefinite basis.

This is a full-time post – 100% full time equivalent.

The selection process will include a panel interview and an assessment.
Grade and Salary : The salary will be paid at Grade 6, £38,304 to £45,026 per annum, inclusive of  London Allowance.
