The Evaluation and Policy Department provides data and policy analysis, and insight and evaluation to support the University’s decision-making to enable evidence-driven interventions and activities to deliver the University’s strategic priorities, particularly in relation to education and the student experience.

In this senior analyst role you will work closely with the Head of Department and other senior leads to support the University’s analytical capabilities providing insight for decision-making to enhance education and student outcomes. You will have particular responsibilities for the analysis and modelling of data across the University’s priorities for access and participation, as well as teaching excellence and student outcomes.

Your in-depth understanding of the range of data, metrics and provider requirements for the Office for Students related exercises (TEF, APP), will be utilised to provide detailed analysis, technical support, and guidance to key stakeholders across the University.   You have substantial experience of a wide range of advanced quantitative data analysis, use of statistics and modelling techniques as well as having worked with complex data sets.  This role interfaces with many colleagues including senior staff, therefore proven excellent communication skills, presentation skills, influencing and interpersonal skills are essential.
