UCEA is the representative body for UK higher education employers and is known for its high-quality research, information and guidance on pay and reward and other employment-related matters. We are seeking a Researcher to support the provision and development of our research and benchmarking services on pay and other aspects of employment. Working within the research team you will lead the delivery of major sector-wide surveys and make a significant contribution to UCEA’s research output providing valuable and practical insights to our member organisations.

In this role you will have opportunities to work on a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research projects, write case studies and conduct sector-wide surveys, some of which are carried out in partnership with the recognised trade unions and other stakeholders in the sector.

Applicants should be educated to masters degree level or equivalent and have recent relevant research experience in economic and labour market data, employment/HR practice or similar areas. Applicants must have a right to work in the UK.

This is a permanent, full-time position and the current salary band for this role is £33,000 to £36,000 per annum (dependent on experience). In addition, UCEA offers an excellent benefits package, including a defined benefit pension scheme and generous annual leave. UCEA provides a strong development package for its research staff including a dedicated training allowance and a Datacamp subscription.
