You will have overall responsibility for academic and curriculum development across Goldsmiths ensuring that our courses equip our academically, socially and culturally diverse body of students to address and navigate contemporary real-world issues.  Specifically, you will lead the development and implementation of our Learning & Teaching Strategy, line manage a number of specialist functions, chair institutional committees relevant to the portfolio and lead the academic liaison with Goldsmiths’ Students Union.

A resilient and inclusive leader with an understanding of, and empathy for, the dynamics of a research-intensive institution with high levels of personal commitment to Goldsmiths’ Mission and Values, you will bring experience of successfully leading impactful academic initiatives and management of change within highly unionised complex organisations. You will have highly developed stakeholder management and influencing skills and a proven ability to command the confidence of the academic and broader community.

Goldsmiths is currently going through a large transformation programme, encompassing a review of our academic portfolio and the implementation of a revised blueprint for the delivery of professional services.
