As the Policy and Corporate Affairs Officer, you will be involved in creating a wide range of reports, consultation submissions and opinion pieces on behalf of the University. You will need to draw together the thoughts of university staff and prepare these documents in a way that convincingly communicates these opinions
You are able to demonstrate fluent and high quality report writing in a range of appropriate styles
You are able to analyse and assess policy and statistical data to enable you to deliver high standards fact sheets and reports
You are able to deliver your work on time because you are organised and utilise your project management skills
Exciting work you will do
- Prepare reports and opinion pieces on behalf of the Vice Chancellor and Executive team.
- Prepare policy roundtables and other events
- Produce policy briefings for the University leadership
The skills and experience you will need to be successful
You will have significant proven experience of writing content that has been included in internal and external communications which promote the work and views of an organisation.

Full-time (35hrs), Fixed-Term 23 month contract to cover a secondment
