Liberation, Equality, and Diversity Coordinator

Expires

11th July 2019

Students’ Unions aren’t just any membership charity – they’re active, democratic mutuals, using the energy and passion of their student members to deliver improvements to students’ lives.

Our Liberation, Equality and Diversity Coordinator will deliver support for student leaders working on liberation, equality and diversity projects and campaigns, and support them to improve the experience and wellbeing of students from liberation groups at UEA. They will work with the breadth of liberation and under-involved groups represented by uea(su) to develop active and thriving networks, ensure liberation is celebrated within the UEA community, and remove barriers to participation in our work. One focus for this role in the medium-term will be supporting student leaders to improve the representation of BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic) students across uea(su).

We’re committed to equality of opportunity for all and are passionate to ensure that the staff body at uea(su) reflects the diverse student body we serve. We particularly encourage applications from people who belong to liberation groups. You can be yourself here whoever you are, be proud of the work you do and build a career in a place that celebrates diversity.
