Applications are invited for the above post, based at our University Park campus. The University has recently closed its most successful fundraising campaign yet, Impact: The Nottingham Campaign which surpassed its extended targets to raise over £200m and to engage more than 1,000 volunteers. Beyond Impact, the University will continue to build upon the successes of this Campaign towards even more ambitious philanthropic and engagement goals.

The Campaign and Alumni Relations Office (CARO) is seeking an experienced Head of Prospect Development to lead and manage delivery of the University’s prospect development strategy. Candidates must have a proven track record of managing a prospect development service (or similar) within the higher education or charity sector, to include experience of coaching, motivating and managing successful teams. They will have strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to engaging colleagues across the University. The successful candidate will have experience of using data to drive creative solutions to fundraising challenges and of working efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities will include strategy development; provision of prospect identification, research and management support for fundraisers and colleagues across the University; reporting and analysis; line management; policy development; due diligence and data protection compliance. The role holder will be expected to oversee that all activity is executed to professional standards by all team members.
