Directorate Executive, Governance and Legal Services (EGLS) is a small, professional service based in the historic Trinity House building. The department is comprised of three interlinking teams Executive Services, Clerks Office and Legal Services.

Based within the Executive, Governance and Legal Services directorate, this role provides high-level executive support to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). This is a high-profile support role requiring a mature and expert skill-set. You will be expected to develop an excellent understanding of the COO’s portfolio and work on your own initiative, balancing priorities, with minimal supervision. This is a unique and dynamic role which will allow you to work with a diverse range of stakeholders across a wide range of specialisms.

We are seeking a highly motivated and professional individual who will be able to combine a personable approach with a strong focus on working to high standards and delivering quality across all areas of duty. The ability to undertake research and strategic analysis, and present information clearly and accurately is vital. You must be adaptable, with a diplomatic approach and be able to build and sustain excellent working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
