2nd October 2017

Ranked in the top 200 universities worldwide, the University of Reading is a global university with a world-class reputation for the quality of its teaching, research and links to business. The university is home to 17,000 students from over 150 countries worldwide.

In 2016 Reading restructured its administrative systems to improve and modernise the services it provides to students and staff. We developed truly integrated processes and systems that place students at the heart of the University. This included the restructuring of teaching and learning support into five support centres and launch of a project to transform and digitise the management and assessment of student feedback and our approach to electronic management of assessment.

We are now looking to appoint a Director of Student Support and Operations to assume responsibility for all the teaching and learning operations across the university.

You will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of the University’s assessment processes, graduation, student records, timetabling and room bookings. You will also be responsible for the provision of international student advice, support and compliance and the five teaching and learning support centres.

We are looking for an innovative and experienced HE professional with a track record of delivering large scale process change.
