The Director of Strategic Projects will report to the Director of Strategic Planning and will work closely with faculties, professional services and academic staff to ensure the successful delivery of a diverse range of major high-profile transformational strategic projects. You will lead and develop a multidisciplinary programme team to deliver a portfolio approach to the management of agreed institutional strategic projects and be involved in the identification and development of new emerging strategic projects.

The Director of Strategic Projects will possess successful leadership and delivery experience in the area of strategic programme and project management, preferably within higher education institutions. You will have advanced knowledge of all aspects of programme/portfolio management and understand how to influence senior stakeholders in a politically sensitive environment. You will possess the ability to build credible and long term relationships with all University stakeholders, students and external partners and have a determined focus on delivering outstanding service.
