About the role

The Data and Insights Analyst is a key role in assisting the university with its understanding of data and continual improvement based on evidence-informed decision making. Working to analyse internal and external data sets, along with working across departments to increase the gathering of insights from applicants, students, alumni and external contacts, this role forms part of a dispersed team collectively responsible for providing data analysis and management information to underpin large parts of the organisation. The Data and Insights Analyst works collaboratively with other departments across the University, including Academic Schools of Study and Professional Service teams.

About you (requirements)

We are looking for a creative and versatile individual who gets the job done. You should have experience of working in higher education or a comparable environment and have a good working knowledge of the Higher Education sector, including admissions, teaching and research indicators and league tables and metrics.
