The Chief Marketing and Communications Officer is a key appointment at the University of Nottingham. You will help shape the University’s future direction and its implementation. You will be an exceptional individual with experience of strategic and high-level operational marketing and communications leadership.

This is a significant and challenging role, covering a broad span of external relations, including student recruitment, digital and marketing, communications, media relations, widening participation, public affairs, global engagement and Nottingham Lakeside Arts. Working with the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shearer West and other senior leaders you will be responsible for developing the University’s global marketing and communications strategy for the next era.

You will be a well-qualified, experienced, intellectually strong, senior level communicator and marketing leader. You will have the drive and determination to secure high levels of international exposure for the University and promote the University’s standing and reputation.

An executive search exercise is being undertaken by Perrett Laver who will support the University in identifying the widest possible field of qualified candidates and assist in their assessment against the requirements for the role.
