The 100 year old University College of Osteopathy (UCO) is a dynamic and ambitious institution seeking to appoint an experienced individual as Chair to the Board to drive our strategic vision and help take UCO to the next level following the award of Taught Degree Awarding Powers and University College Title. We are also reviewing our estates requirements making this a particularly exciting time to be involved with the UCO.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Vice Chancellor, the Board of Directors and Clerk to the Board. We are looking for an individual with experience and expertise in strategic leadership and/or governance.  The UCO are looking to appoint a Chair, with experience in leading and cultivating a collaborative team environment, who will represent the organisation at external meetings and events and lead the institution into its next phase.

There are four Board Meetings per year (travel expenses shall be reimbursed) and other meetings as required.
