Based within the Strategic Marketing Team in the Communications and Marketing Directorate, the post holder is responsible for planning, implementing and delivering effective marketing campaigns to enhance the conversion of international offer holders. The role also researches best practice in acquisition and conversion campaigns both within HE Sector and elsewhere to recommend new approaches and inform initiatives to embed best practice. The Directorate’s focus is to pursue a ‘digital first’ strategy however the role will also be required toutilise more traditional platforms and marketing materials and evaluate the effectiveness of all campaigns on an iterative basis.

The successful candidate will be a graduate with extensive experience of marketing communications, particularly in relation to customer conversion campaigns in high value service environments. Strong interpersonal and project management skills are essential and will complement their copy writing skills and knowledge of digital marketing techniques. Experience of CRM systems and working with third parties would also be useful. Knowledge of the education sector and HE admissions processes would be desirable but is not essential.
