Academic Registrar

Expires

25th October 2017

Through its comprehensive and innovative academic offering, relevant research excellence, and deep-rooted links with business, industry, and civic institutions, Nottingham Trent University has developed a reputation as one of the UK’s leading modern higher education institutions, recently demonstrated by being awarded the title of Modern University of the Year in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2018. Our steady rise up the league tables in recent years, achievement of a gold rating in the Teaching Excellence Framework and being shortlisted for University of the Year in the forthcoming Times Higher Education Awards evidence our commitment to supporting students to achieve their aspirations.

We are now seeking an Academic Registrar to provide strategic leadership for the University’s student administrative services, processes and systems. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and Registrar, you will be the institutional lead on student enrolment, student records, timetabling, examinations and graduation, whilst ensuring compliance with statutory and university regulations.

In addition to the delivery of your own portfolio, you will play a critical leadership role, forging strong working relationships across the University to influence, develop and deliver high profile services that support the student life-cycle and enhance the reputation of the University.

With experience of successfully managing teams to deliver customer-focused student administrative services, you will be an influential senior leader, with a demonstrable commitment to quality and a proven track record of implementing change.

Nottingham Trent University is committed to promoting equality and valuing diversity and we seek people who share those values.

Closing date midnight on 25 October 2017

Initial interviews will be held on 9 or 10 November with the final interview process on 24 November 2017.
