The ESRC/HEFCE Centre for Global Higher Education (CGHE) is a new research centre focused on higher education and its future. The Centre for Global Higher Education is a partnership of three UK universities and eight international universities led by the UCL Institute of Education in London. The Centre is directed by Simon Marginson. CGHE commences on 1 December 2015 and is supported by £6.1 million in total funding over five years.
The role will involve working with UCL web and Marketing Services and IOE Marketing and Communications to develop, manage and maintain the CGHE website as a cutting-edge resource, developing and delivering interactive digital communications and research-related and policy-related discussion as well as working with UCL Media Relations and the IOE directorate to liaise continuously with journalists, media representatives and communications officers.
The appointment is funded for five years in the first instance.
