What you’ll be doing

As Communications Manager, your main aim will be to protect and promote the reputation of Advance HE, regionally, nationally, and internationally. You’ll proactively handle media coverage with the press office and media.

Advance HE is in period of significant growth and this role will help to manage and implement the communications strategy aiming to raise awareness of our profile within the Higher Education sector.

You’ll work with internal stakeholders to create digestible, engaging communications from complex subjects, tailoring messaging to different audience segments. Planning and delivering content to support lead generation and engagement within the HE sector.

Using your excellent interpersonal skills, you will have the ability to influence at all levels, both internally and externally, to promote the reputation and profile of Advance HE. You will communicate in a way which is professional, approachable, and inspiring.

You will be involved in multiple projects across departments, requiring collaboration and guaranteeing variety. It’s important to manage your workload effectively, prioritising and managing deadlines.

What do you need

  • Skilled in media relations experience.
  • Experience in broad sheet media.
  • Experience with trade press and national media.
