What you’ll be doing

As Senior Consultant for Education, you’ll help us advance the work of higher education through driving quality and excellence through strategic approaches to enhancing teaching and learning and ensuring quality outcomes for students.

Specifically, you’ll lead on the design, development and delivery of high-quality content and solutions related to education and student success. You’ll be the expert we turn to on these subjects, translating the key priorities from regulators, policy makers and our members into impactful solutions and weaving these into impactful thought leadership.

In addition, you’ll act as programme director for programmes and consultancy projects working with and through a team of associates and colleagues. Contributing to the planning and delivery of our annual operational plan is also a vital part of your work — your efforts will help us drive ever-higher standards in UK and international higher education.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for people with experience at a senior levels within higher education, with a track record of shaping effective education solutions and working with influence to change. Being able to create high-quality, evidence-based content and be a credible expert in the field of education will be important in this role, as will a nuanced understanding of the education policy landscape.

Using your strong academic background and wealth of experience in higher education, you’ll be able to navigate change and challenge and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to bring about positive, lasting change.

What do you need

  • Experience in managing complex projects.
  • Knowledge of the higher education current policy and contextual landscape
  • Experience in producing evidence-based, high-quality thought leadership, content with a focus on either contemporary approaches to teaching and learning or broader experience in related areas in support of student success
  • Experience acting as a credible trusted adviser and consultant.
