Coventry University has been ranked joint first amongst Modern Universities in England for career prospects and we are in the top 6 universities for student experience. Our commitment to providing the best for our students doesn’t stop with them, it starts with our people. Without our dedicated teams, we wouldn’t be ranked so highly or have won any of our numerous awards.

The Strategic Planning and Analytics Office (SPAO) is a key professional service delivering insight to a wide range of stakeholders to support evidence-based decision making across the business. We are seeking exceptional new colleagues to join our recruitment and admissions focussed insights team.

You will work closely with colleagues from across the business, and specifically teams within CU Recruitment and Admissions Limited (CURA), to deliver a range of insight with a focus on the recruitment and admissions pipeline from enquiry to enrolment.  CURA lives and breathes a passion for finding, enrolling, and supporting students to earn a Coventry University award. CURA works with future graduates from across the globe, helping them to study here in the UK, or in selected locations around the world.

You will be experienced in turning data into insights, creating compelling reports, analysis and dashboards. Highly skilled in extracting and transforming data using a range of business intelligence tools, you will be able to combine data from a range of sources, building robust data models to underpin your analysis and data visualisations.

Our ideal candidate will bring expertise in Salesforce reporting including Tableau CRM (Einstein analytics) and working within a recruitment and admissions setting. You may also bring experience of other business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, Experian Aperture and Business Objects (or similar) and be confident in reporting from a range of sources to deliver operational, strategic, and predictive intelligence.

You will have outstanding analytical skills, attention to detail, experience of working with complex datasets, and a sound understanding of data governance principles. You will work collaboratively with internal and external contacts, demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and be able to manage individual workloads and meet tight deadlines. A strong visual and verbal communicator, you will be capable of presenting your work to both technical and non-specialist audiences and have a confident approach to making your insight count.

These are new posts and an exciting opportunity to join Coventry University and make a significant contribution to our strategic direction and to the success of our students.
