Working as part of a passionate Business Partnering team, you will proactively contribute to providing an outstanding customer focused HR service to a variety of stakeholders in a fast paced, friendly and supportive environment. The role of our HR Advisors is to provide consistent, comprehensive, pragmatic HR advice and support to colleagues in accordance with best practice, organisational policies and employment legislation.

You will also get involved in various projects and assignments supporting the HR and University Strategy. This will be an exciting and challenging role suiting someone who thrives in a changing environment.

There will be the opportunity to work more flexibly – blending locations and working times according to the work being carried out.

About You

We are looking for a HR professional with experience of managing extensive and multifaceted employee relations caseloads in a HR environment. You will also have experience in providing expert HR advice and guidance in a fast paced environment whilst using IT software to extract, analyse and present data to the wider business. If you thrive on working with managers to make a difference then we’d love to hear from you.

Qualifications

Essential;

Educated to at least A Level (or equivalent).

Desirable;

Hold a degree level qualification (or equivalent).

CIPD qualified.

Faculty/Department

Human Resources are responsible for the development of the University’s HR policies, strategies and procedures covering all aspects of people management, recruitment and selection, pay and conditions, management development and employment relations. The department is made up of the following teams: Corporate, Business Partnering, Payroll and Staff Development.
