Working within the University’s Brand and Advertising team you will be required to support and proactively contribute to the University’s UK Recruitment Strategy through developing and delivering effective marketing and communication solutions across multiple touchpoints to a range of markets in an ever-competitive marketplace.

You will have responsibility for maintaining and upholding the University’s Brand Identity both to an internal and external audience. Working with suppliers you will brief projects and develop ideas to drive and promoting student recruitment, conversion and progression activities at all times ensuring consistency in messaging and visual approach across all touchpoints.

Working alongside the Marketing and Advertising Manager you will also be responsible for coordinating multiple media plans alongside copy creation and asset delivery.

About You

We seek a highly motivated passionate marketeer who can demonstrate creativity, problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail and a dedication to their work.

Experience of working within the Youth Sector is preferred but more importantly, you should have a clear understanding of what our target audiences are interested in and the most appropriate channels to target and develop ideas to engage with a youth audience interested in Higher Education.

Excellent project management skills, the ability to prioritise your workload, meet deadlines and maintain a high degree of accuracy is essential. Alongside the ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team across a variety of projects.

Qualifications

Essential;

Educated to degree level (or equivalent) or with demonstrable previous experience.

Faculty/Department

Marketing and International Relations (MIR) is responsible for the promotion of the University and its courses in order to recruit students from the UK and overseas. We use market research to develop creative strategies that explain how we can help our students achieve their goals.

MIR is responsible for external promotion; public relations; advertising and recruitment events in addition to internal communication for staff and current students. We act as trusted advisors across the institution on all matters relating to promotion and reputation.
