Wonkhe and HSBC are delighted to announce an exciting new collaboration. Mark Leach, Wonkhe’s founder and Editor in Chief, said: “We are thrilled to be working with HSBC. As the world’s leading international trade and business bank, their global reach and deep relationships with UK universities make the bank an ideal partner.”

The collaboration centres on Wonkfest – Wonkhe’s flagship event launching today (see: www.wonkfest.co.uk). Wonkfest, which is also organised in association with The Guardian, is intended to become a major date in the UK HE calendar which brings the Wonkhe community together for the biggest and most interesting jamboree of new thinking, ideas and debate in the sector. Wonkhe and HSBC will also be working together on several other innovative projects throughout the next year.

Suzy Verma, Head of Public Sector and Higher Education from HSBC said “It is a critical time for universities with a new regulatory framework, shifts in the political landscape and numerous other challenges on the horizon. We’re delighted to support Wonkhe and Wonkfest to help bring the HE debate to life and ensure that UK universities are on the best possible footing to deal with uncertainties ahead, strengthen their relationships with their local business community, and seek out valuable international collaboration opportunities.”
