The appointment will be full time on UCL Grade 8. The salary range will be £42,304 to £49,904 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

This is an exciting time to be part of UCL’s Global Engagement Office. Under the leadership of the Vice Provost (International) Dr Dame Nicola Brewer, the Office is at the heart of delivering the University’s Global Engagement Strategy (GES). The GES sets out a vision for UCL with the GEO at its core to increase the University’s global impact, with demanding targets up until 2020. In September 2016, UCL took the decision to make India a top priority country, deepening engagement and building strategic links in the region.

There is now an opportunity to be part of a high-profile, experienced and dynamic team which will implement, deliver and inform this ambitious and distinctive strategy. A new post, Senior Partnerships Manager South Asia, has been created to work facilitate UCL’s growing engagement in India. The post holder will lead and independently develop and manage the portfolio of existing and potential partnerships with academics across the University. There will be some overseas travel.

This new role is will appeal to someone with a strong interest in the internationalisation of higher education and who is ready to take on a challenging, rewarding post. The successful candidate will marshal a dedicated budget to play a major role in directing and advancing UCL’s strategy in the region. They will thrive on working in a fast-paced team in a rapidly changing external environment. To help achieve this, the role benefits from the GEO’s excellent administrative support.
