We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to contribute to the development and implementation of the OU’s new Academic Strategy. Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Unit and University, you will be involved with Academic Strategy-related matters and will have a role in ensuring that faculties, institutes and other units are effectively supported to ensure its successful implementation.

You will have experience of working on strategy or policy development and implementation, ideally in an HE context, and have a good working knowledge of the issues and opportunities facing the Open University today.

Effectiveness as a team player and relationship builder, with strong interpersonal and communication skills, is essential. You will also possess a flexible, collaborative and adaptable approach to work in meeting the demands of a complex workload, managing competing priorities and multiple stakeholders.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the OU’s Academic Strategy, and develop and monitor plans to ensure its successful delivery. Applications are welcome from individuals looking to work between 30 and 37 hours per week.
