Higher Education Policy Adviser – Research Excellence Framework

We are looking to recruit a Policy Officer (Higher Education Policy Adviser (HEPA) 7) to work within the team responsible for delivering the next Research Excellence Framework (REF).

We are looking for a very well-organised, self-motivated person, ideally with a background and key interest in higher education, research or policy. Capable of working on their own initiative, the ideal candidate will contribute substantially to the development and delivery of the next REF. You will have an analytical approach and be a confident communicator with people at all levels.

If you have these qualities and experience; knowledge and interest in higher education research assessment; and would relish the opportunity to take on this exciting role then we would very much like to hear from you.

Benefits include 25 days’ annual leave, a comprehensive staff development programme, and the opportunity to join the Civil Service Pension scheme.
