Head of Marketing
The University of Winchester is looking for a passionate and experienced individual to join us as Head of Marketing. In this key role within the Communications and Marketing Department, you will help to fully embed the University’s newly established creative, co-ordinated and strategic approach to marketing and ultimately deliver improved results. You will be a strategic thinker, passionate planner and inspiring team leader with substantial experience overseeing marketing in higher education or other people-focussed sectors.
This is both a strategic and hands-on role. Building strong links across the University and with good use of market intelligence and customer insight, you will deliver highly creative and results-driven marketing that supports strong student recruitment and raises the profile of the University nationally and globally whilst identifying and exploiting new market opportunities and helping maintain a strong brand and market position. Through your oversight of market research, you will also be responsible for generating new insights to enhance the decision-making processes within the University, in particular those relating to marketing and student recruitment.
You will be passionate about delivering success, influencing positive change and will possess excellent relationship-building and communication skills, both written and verbal.
