The Planning Team at the University of Huddersfield are seeking a highly numerate and communicative Deputy Head of Planning to advance the role data plays in evidence-based decision-making by senior staff.  This is an exciting new role and a chance to shape how data is used to inform strategy, planning and performance management at the University.

Applicants will need to understand complex concepts such as benchmarking and mathematical inference and be able to communicate these concepts to managers at the University in an accessible and inclusive manner.  Also required is a strong background in data science and applicants will have to have previously utilised techniques such as SQL to quickly gain access to large relational datasets.
