Faculty SAS Administration provides professional support to students across the whole student lifecycle – from initial enquiry and application to final award for undergraduate, postgraduate and research students. We also support the academic community in the areas of research consultancy, enterprise and knowledge exchange. We deliver sector-leading services, providing outstanding levels of support to 8 faculties and 37,000 students, including collaborative partners both inside and outside the UK. Service enhancement, both to the students and the academic community is fundamental to everything we do and informs our strong culture of continuous improvement and customer focused delivery.

We are looking for an Accreditations Manager to work within the Accreditations Team in the Management Services Group.

You will contribute to the Faculty’s ambition to build its national and international profile for excellence in business and legal education, research and knowledge exchange by leading on the acquisition and maintenance of key accreditations.

Reporting to the Faculty Head of International, you will work to ensure the effective development and maintenance of the Faculty’s accreditation statuses, advising the Faculty Executive Group with regard to accreditation processes and the requirements of accrediting bodies. The Faculty currently holds a range of accreditations, including those from AACSB, CIPD, AMBA, BSB and SRA and the professional accountancy bodies.

Working in association with both academic and professional services colleagues, you will make a significant contribution towards the Faculty’s processes of continuous improvement. You will be responsible for the drafting of submissions to accrediting bodies (eligibility applications, accreditation reports, self-assessment reviews) along with the collection, collation and timely submission of reports, statistics and other evidence required for accreditation. You will maintain accurate accrediting body records and will ensure effective communications with accrediting bodies overseeing visits and events.

You will also have line management responsibilities and will lead the delivery of a high quality, responsive and professional service to both academic colleagues and external stakeholders.
